Dr. Lauren Hennessey graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph in 2026. She chose veterinary medicine because she has always loved science, educating others, and caring for both people and animals. Veterinary medicine allows her to bring these interests together while building meaningful relationships with pets and their families.
Dr. Lauren's favourite areas of veterinary medicine include preventative care, feline medicine, and helping pets feel as comfortable as possible during their visits through Fear Free handling techniques. She especially enjoys getting to know her patients and their families and providing individualized care throughout every stage of a pet's life.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Lauren enjoys attending workout classes, reading, drinking tea, doing puzzles, and spending time with family and friends, as well as cuddling with her three cats, Chip, Pekoe, and Mouse. Having grown up in the east end of Toronto, Dr. Lauren is especially excited to be back in the community and have the opportunity to care for the pets and families who call it home.
